The Name
Why "Steamed Hams"?
It comes from the iconic Simpsons scene where Principal Skinner invites Superintendent Chalmers over for an unforgettable luncheon. He burns the roast, sneaks out to Krusty Burger, passes off fast-food hamburgers as his own cooking, and — when questioned — insists they're "steamed hams", an old family recipe. It's an upstate New York dialect thing.
The kitchen catches fire. Chalmers notices. Skinner calls it the Northern Lights. It's four minutes of pure, escalating commitment to the bit — and somehow it works.

About Me
I'm Luke. By day I work at Microsoft. By night (and weekends) I build apps for problems I actually have. Steamed Hams is entirely separate from my day job — different brain, different codebase, different everything.
No venture funding, no growth hacking, no pivot decks. Just software that scratches my own itch and hopefully yours too.
